Residential programs
This site does not rank or recommend one program as best.
Programs below are listed alphabetically by program name.
What is residential care?
Residential treatment provides 24-hour supervised care in a live-in setting, with therapy, schooling, and medical oversight on site. Stays are usually measured in weeks or months, which is part of what separates residential care from a short inpatient hospitalization.
Who this level of care is for
Programs at this level typically serve children and teens whose needs cannot be met safely at home, or who have not stabilized in day treatment or outpatient care. Admission normally follows a clinical assessment, and each program sets its own age ranges, diagnoses served, and expected length of stay.
How families use this list
Entries are listed alphabetically by program name, not ranked, and no program pays to appear in this directory. Age ranges, insurance, waitlists, and intake steps change more often than a directory can track — confirm the details that matter to you directly with the program before you rely on them.
